It's about fun and laughter, achievement and identity.
It's about taking stock, re-evaluating and redefining yourself, after years of commitment to family, friends and work. It’s about taking yourself outside of your comfort zone to achieve more than you ever thought was possible.
It’s about celebrating all that we are and all that we aim to be over our next decades.

Our definitions of mid and later life have changed. Today, so many of us say that we feel stronger, more confident and more enthusiastic about the future than ever before. For others, approaching mid-life requires redefining ourselves positively at a time of big life changes.
50 Challenges is about creating a new blueprint for the next chapter.
Our 20s, 30s and 40s are taken up with careers and children. Our 50s are when we regain time for ourselves – when we have the time to invest in ourselves physically and mentally, whether that’s through hobbies, friendships, study or travel.
50 Challenges is about celebrating our time.
By the time you get to your 50s, you know that life doesn’t always go to plan. You know there are rough times and tough times. And you know that you need to make time for the positive, create opportunities to enjoy, build memories to last.
50 Challenges is about making today a celebration.
We want you to dream up your own 50 Challenges, or choose some of ours. There is no prescription as to what they are, big or small: everyone’s will be unique. You may want to attempt a marathon, or you may want to read more.

The aim with 50 Challenges is to complete 50 Challenges across your 50s. This isn’t a mad dash for a year – it’s taking your time to achieve real challenges and ambitions.
